Hi there,
I’m Sujin.

Currently designing global e-commerce platforms at PVH.
Previously worked as a UX consultant and an entrepreneur.

Starting my first job as a startup CEO was an exciting adventure, and it taught me a ton of lessons on how to start something from scratch and make it thrive on its own. Shifting my career focus towards designing digital user experiences, I have been able to apply those lessons to tackle exciting design challenges across diverse business landscapes.

I enjoy the process of squeezing creative juice to find simpler and smarter ways to solve problems, and I am happiest when the ideas come to life on my fingertips. I love being a designer and I am excited to continue expanding the scope and impact of my work.
How I work.
I continue to improve my design process to ensure my designs are always effective, viable, and relevant.
Absorb
Thoroughly understanding the status quo, the context and the background.
Define
Defining clear shared goals and problems to solve together.
Study
Digging deeper into the user insights and technical feasibility.
Make
Creating solutions in the most effectively communicatable forms.
Iterate
Continuously validating and refining the solutions.
Other things I love.
Climbing walls.
Bouldering is a problem solving process - generating solution ideas, validating and iterating them, making clear accomplishments, and celebrating it with a nice cold beer.
Cultivating worlds of microbes.
It started with making my own kimchi after moving out of Korea. Now my practice of fermentation expanded to producing various alcohols and breads.
Throwing clays on the wheel.
Pottery is my newest addiction. It’s a practice of extreme focus and delicate control, while embracing unexpectedness and letting the clay takes on a life of its own.
Back to work.
